Why is real estate in austin Texas priced so freakin high!?

1. High compared to where? Texas is very reasonable, if not inexpensive.
2. If you are comparing to Houston it may be higher. Otherwise Austin is cheap cheap cheap. Why do you think all of those Californians are moving here with the pennies they got for their tiny houses and buying up the big ones here? If I bought my house (from Cedar Park) in NJ (where I am from) I would get a 700 sq ft apartment. Talk about ridiculous. This place is CHEAP (and so is the manufacturing). lol
